Cameo was established in 1960 as a sofa and sofa-bed manufacturer in Montreal, Quebec. The company gained success and notoriety through its superior quality sofa-beds. That reputation continues today as the company
continues to improve while innovating new systems and mechanisms for an even better sleep.
In 2013, under new management, the brand name Cameo was revamped and renamed as “Cameo Collection”. Today our 10 000-square foot showroom and Plateau-Mont-Royal boutique feature trendy and innovative pieces and accessories. Nowadays, the business is equal parts sofa-beds and custom upholstered pieces such as sofas, sectionals, chairs, kitchen benches, headboards, bunk beds, murphy beds and much more. We’ve also recently added lighting, accent furniture, rugs and accessories to decorate your space or as gifts for various occasions.
The Cameo Collection concept allows clients and designers to create their own pieces to fit their needs and specifications. Our showrooms have become an effective tool that allow clients to simply make choices and modifications by blending models, changing dimensions, configurations, seat depths, and stitching styles.
Our fabric gallery is filled with a large array of fabrics and leathers in different colours, textures, and styles. Anti-stain treatment options are available for worry-free living.
Cameo also offers five styles of high-quality hypoallergenic seat cushions ranging from hard to soft. Clients can choose between regular firm foam, dacron, velva foam and/or dacron, and feather and down seats. The sofa backs are generously filled, using polyfiber fill or feathers and down. All seats, backs and throw cushions are sewn with zippers for easy care and maintenance. Lastly, there is a choice of different sofa feet styles available in various colours. We usually manufacture and deliver custom or standard size pieces in 4-8 weeks, depending on fabric availability.
Every Cameo sofa frame is made from solid Canadian kiln-dried Birch or Maple hardwood using countersunk screws, high pressure staples, high-quality wood glue and corner blocks for extra strength, durability, comfort and support.
Cameo Collection offers a lifetime warranty on sofa frames. We’re especially proud to be manufacturing here in Montreal while employing Canadian workers who build Canadian products. Our clients and designers benefit from manufacturer-direct pricing, avoiding retail markups.

Very happy with our new sofa! Wonderfully constructed according to the dimensions we asked for. Prior to going to Cameo, we shopped around at other furniture stores but none of them had the quality, size, style and material we wanted. My husband and I recently decided to redecorate our house. We shopped the city far and wide and could not find what we were looking for. We walked into Cameo Collection and never looked back. The new owners Natalie and Zareh embraced us and treated us like family. They are warm, welcoming and so knowledgeable in every aspect of furniture and decorating. I could not have completed my renos without their help and guidance. I can not say enough about Valentina, Cameo's in-house decorator. She matched all my fabric (couches, chairs, carpets, bedding---all made and designed from Cameo) and paint colors for my entire house. She would not give up until it was perfect. My renos are completed, my furniture has been delivered and my house looks magnificent, all due to this amazing dream team at Cameo Collection. A million thanks!!!

We highly recommend Cameo. We dealt with Craig at the store on Saint Laurent blvd and had the absolute best experience. Craig is professional, detailed and very patient. Great team of knowledgable people. Local upholstery and "sur mesure" projects available. Big showroom with lots of decor pieces too. A must for any interior designer/decorator.
